With March Madness here and all teams in full swing, I just want to again wish everyone the best of luck!! I do realize some programs have been eliminated, however my hope is that you still had a GREAT season.
Every year I receive a dozen emails, with reactions to the Run and Jump Press that we installed. If I may, I would like to share one email with you below.
Hey Coach,
I just want to say THANK YOU!! We concluded our regular season at 18-4. We had 8 wins last year. Yes, we had a talented freshman group with four on the varsity!! But I don’t think we win 18 games without our Run and Jump press. We also beat 5 teams with 12 or more wins! The R&J Press did more than win a few extra games. It allowed us to play 10 kids a night with 10 or more minutes. We didn’t play any zone or a halfcourt game all season…we didn’t need to. We absolutely became a closer knit team because a lot of kids were involved on game day. We simply out worked every team and wore them down. We made good shooters less than average and average shooters bad! We took a lot of teams out of their rhythm offensively.
WE LOVE IT AND HAVE GAINED A LOT OF PRIDE FOR THE WAY THAT WE PLAY.
Needless to say, I am humbled by these emails I receive and excited for the success teams have gained using the Run and Jump Press. The email above embodies the potential of using the R&J in your program. Some Run and Jump Press system highlights cited are-
- Playing More Kids = Closer Team Bond
- System Promotes Team to Outwork Opponent
- Takes Opponent Shooters Out of Game
- Takes Opponents Offensive Flow Away
- Instills Pride in Program
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PASSION IN THIS GAME
ENJOY MARCH MADNESS!
